For Your Eyes Only opened it's doors in 1989 by Raleigh native and NC licensed optician, Doug Clifton.  In 1992, having just graduated from North Carolina State University, Jennifer Williams

joined Doug and trained under him as an apprentice optician.  Learning from Doug's expertise and craftsmanship, Jennifer received her NC Optician's License in 1997.
